How to Earn Marks

This is subject to change as myself and other members see fit.

Self-explanatory title so I'll just get on with it.

Each post is 1 mark and automatically added to your marks without you doing anything.

Everything else you must add to your mark tracker so that your marks may be updated by an admin/mod.

OOC Ways to Earn:

• Each karma point you earn: 2 marks
  (this is a great way to show appreciation for a well-done post or reward those you are playing with)
  
• Have an active character before the first hatching starts: 50 marks
  
• Advertise for us on a new site: 10 marks (need link as proof)
  
• 'Bump' an already established ad for us: 5 marks
  (please don't just post 'bump' but actually something about how you're a member or what we have going on right now)
  
• Recruit someone (and they name you): 20 marks
  
• Make your first character: 30 marks
  
• Make a needed character: 20 marks
  
• Make any other character: 10 marks
  
• Open a shop: 25 marks
  
• Become a mod/admin: 50 marks
  
• Host an egg search: 20 marks +20 if you 'design' the eggs
  (otherwise simple numbered egg images will be used)
  

IC Ways to Earn:

• First in character post: 25 marks
  
• Join an in character 'thread of note': 25 marks (each thread)
  
  
• Attend any Hatching as a Candidate: 10 marks per Candidate
  
• Impress a Dragon/Wher: 10 marks
  
• Graduate training: 25 marks per graduation (not character)
  
  
• Host a mating flight/chase: 30 marks
  
• Participate in a mating flight/chase: 20 marks (males)
  
• Win mating flight/chase: 30 marks (awarded instead of previous)
  
• Host a Dragon/Wher hatching: 10+ 5 marks per egg/hatchling you develop
  (I will still chose colors/number of eggs. If I pick the traits/personality of the hatchling you do not get credit for it. I will draw eggs for you, for a fee.)
  
  
• Impress a Firelizard: 10 marks
  
• Impress a Glider/Gemtail: 15 marks
  
• Host a Firelizard mating flight: 15 marks
  
• Participate in Firelizard mating flight: 10 marks (males)
  
• Win Firelizard mating flight: 15 marks (awarded instead of previous)
  
• Host a Glider/Gemtail chase: 20 marks
  
• Participate in a Glider/Gemtail chase: 15 marks (males)
  
• Win a Glider/Gemtail chase: 20 marks (awarded instead of previous)
  
  
• Become Senior Weyrwoman/Weyrleader: 25 marks
  
• Become Junior Weyrwoman: 20 marks
  
• Become Wingleader: 20 marks
  
• Become Headwoman: 20 marks
  
• All other Weyr/Hold ranks: 15 marks
  
• Join/rank up in craft: 10 marks (each rank)
  
  

Please Note: IC rewards are rewarded for ROLE PLAYING these events. If you make an adult dragonrider with a firelizard you don't get the attending a Hatching, Impressing a Dragon, and Impressing a firelizard rewards. Now if you make a Candidate and all of that happens to them through role play later on, then yes you get those rewards.

These all add together so your total marks equal the sum of all of these. If you have questions please let me know.
