The dark-haired glass smith dusted off her hands with an accomplished expression on her face as she looked around the shop. She was dressed in her usual wherhide trousers and tucked in tunic. Usually she would have gone with a plain tunic without dye, but today she had decided on a red one to celebrate the opening of her shop, her journeyman rank knots proudly displayed. It had been a long road to get here, a longer road than one her age would usually have to endure, but it had all come to this.
Delicate glass bottles, lenses for goggles, mirrors, drink ware, plates, bowls, and everything else useful you could imagine lined shelves and walls of all but the front of the shop. The front held a large window that lit up dozens of glass figures, mostly the dragon eggs she was 'famous' for, naturally on table just in front of it. Hanging from the ceiling all over the store were even more figures of dragons and gliders and firelizards swooping around her store with Magic's little creations hanging in between. She'd even managed to convince the Lord Holder to allow a window in the roof of the small building under the stipulation that it have a slab of slate over it when she wasn't open or if thread happened to fall. The effect was brilliant as the many multi-hued pieces cast colored lights all over the store.
Rosetta sighed, she wished her parents could be here to see this... Magic chirped at her from the back of the store as he caught the morose emotion from his bonded. E'rra, who had helped her unpack and was now folding up the cloths used to package her wares looked up. His eyes narrowed as he scrutinized her carefully.
"Don't."
"Don't what?" She crossed her arms over her chest stubbornly.
"Don't ruin it for yourself, they wouldn't want that," and with that he was back to folding cloths.
Rosetta rolled her eyes and reached back to tie her hair out of her face with a bit of ribbon, "Yes MOM," and she flipped put the sign outside declaring them open before heading back behind the counter to work on some of the orders from the Gather.
